Micha Mims, a native of Cedar Rapids, IA, is a visionary leader who has combined her passion for culture and development to drive positive change within organizations. With a diverse background spanning collegiate athletics, coaching, business, and leadership, Micha brings a unique perspective and wealth of experience to her role as VP of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging.
With a Bachelor of Science Degrees in Business Management and Business Marketing, as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a Leadership Concentration, Micha has bottled up her knowledge and expertise to help organizations cultivate inclusive cultures with invaluable in sights into team dynamics, leadership development, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
As a Certified Diversity Professional and DEIB Specialist at Government Employees Health Association (GEHA), Micha is deeply committed to guiding organizations around DEIB, providing a safe space for introspection and growth. She empowers teams to look inward, leveraging her expertise in Team Building, Leadership Development, and DEIB to foster environments where every individual feels valued and included.
